2007 will see over $6.6 million being invested in the resort including $3.6 million on snowmaking infrastructure paving the way for the future expansion of snowmaking in Perisher Valley, Australia. This year will see more snow being produced in Blue Cow and the introduction of snowmaking at Tube Town will offer season long reliability.
An additional Winch Cat Groomer will be added to the largest fleet in Australia, also new snow fences and slope grooming will further improve Perisher Blue’s snow cover.
New products for 2007 include half day and six day passes and extended snowsports lessons, as well as early bird season passes with special bonus additions. The last stage of Perisher Blue’s new state of the art ticketing system will come into operation to save guests time.
Reaffirming its commitment to the environment and ‘Keep Winter Cool’, Perisher Blue will introduce green power into the resort. The Village 8 Express will now operate using green energy.
